About Us

Who We Are

In 2009, the name of the program changed from Management Skills for Front Line Managers to Leadership Skills for Front Line Managers to reflect the core values in the program – the role that front line managers and supervisors play as key individuals in an organization who are responsible for leading and developing the people they supervise and manage.

Leadership Skills for Front Line Managers provides you with the basic knowledge and skills that you need to contribute to organisational performance and individual professional development. The program consists of four, 2-day modules, each dealing with a specific topic. The modules cover the planning, organising and control processes of supervision, as well as the human relations skills needed to perform effectively as a supervisor.  Module I should be taken first, but the others may be taken in any order.

Module I Supervision
Module II How to Work with People
Module III How to Get the Work Out
Module IV Employee Selection and Training

For your convenience all modules are offered frequently from September to May in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert, as well as other locations around Saskatchewan on request.  Any module can be taken in any location – perfect for individuals who travel and for companies who have staff in multiple locations.

Starting in the fall of 2010 we can also offer the program to Alberta employers – for more information send an email to us at the Contact Us tab.
